Live in Islington? Want to take an active role in providing more opportunities for Islington residents?
Islington Giving is looking for local residents to come together and make decisions about which local projects and services to fund. In doing so, you will be helping us provide more opportunities for people to connect, have fun, improve wellbeing and tackle isolation. We are looking for people of all ages, from 16 up and are particularly interested in recruiting more men to the panel.
If you are interested in working with other residents from across Islington, we’d love to hear from you.
Please note that the closing date for applications is 5pm on 30 May 2025 but we may close the opportunity earlier if we are able to successfully recruit all panel members before this deadline so if interested please apply asap!
Who can be involved?
No previous experience is necessary – we don’t expect you to have done anything like this before. We want to meet residents who have ideas about what they would like to happen locally.
We are looking for people who :
- live in Islington
- are over 16
- have a desire to effect change in their local community
- can commit to participating on the whole programme from June – October 2025 (with an August break over the summer period)
- are willing to work as part of a team to share ideas and reach a common goal
- have an interest in working with other residents with a range of backgrounds, ages and experiences
We will be prioritising the recruitment of males as men are currently underrepresented on our panels.

- Complete the expression of interest form asap or by 5pm 30 May 2025at the latest, and email it to Patrick Jones patrick.jones@cripplegate.org.uk or send by post to 13 Elliott’s Place, London N1 8HX.
- The next step would be for us to have a phone conversation with you about your application– to find out a little bit more about you and answer any questions. This will give you and us the chance to see whether the programme is right for you.
