Director Kristina Glenn awarded the Freedom of the City of London.

106 women recognised as part of a commemoration of the centenary of women’s suffrage.

The award comes the day before Islington Giving holds its own celebration of the changemaking contributions of women from all walks of life.

Kristina, the first female Director in Cripplegate Foundation’s 500 year history, and Director of Islington Giving since 2010, said “I’m delighted to receive this award alongside 105 other women who create change in the capital. The City of London is a crucial supporter for the local, place-based approach to giving that we started here in Islington nine years ago. It has now grown to reach 20 other boroughs

Through City Bridge Trust, the City of London is a key partner in Islington Giving. It contributes towards our life-changing work each year, and its team gives time and expertise to help make our investment in the borough more effective.”
