Deborah Higgins is Chair of Islington Giving, Chair of Islington Giving Grants Committee, and a member of the Cripplegate Foundation Board. She has extensive experience in both the commercial and charitable sectors, holding senior roles and board positions in both. Deborah has a background in banking and management consultancy, specialising in strategy and planning.
Moving to the charitable sector as Commercial Director for The Prince’s Trust, she was responsible for fundraising, marketing and communications and a member of The Prince’s Trust Trading Board. Passionate about opportunity and inclusivity for all, Deborah has been part of the establishment and growth of The Courtyard School in Islington, for students on the autistic spectrum.
Deborah has a degree in Economics and an MBA and has been a resident in Islington for more than thirty years.
