Sharon has been an Islington resident for over 30 years and loves the vibrancy and diversity of the borough. Recognising that life is tough for many people, she is pleased to pay a part in Islington Giving’s work supporting residents facing challenges.
Sharon has a law degree from the University of Essex and is now retired after a career in the law of nearly 40 years, which included ten years as Chief Executive of international law firm, Stephenson Harwood LLP. Sharon was honoured by an “Outstanding Achievement in Legal Services “ award at The Legal 500 UK awards in 2019 for making a real difference to the profession in her work and serving as a role model for future generations of women in the legal sector.
