Sarah joined Islington Giving in May 2024 as the Make It Happen Fund Coordinator. The aim of the fund is to enable Islington residents to ‘make happen’ a small community project of their choice, based on their lived experience and the needs of their local community.
Sarah has been a carer for over ten years and took part in Islington Giving’s Resident Carers Panel. She also completed a degree in Sociology and feels strongly about the need to redress social inequalities and injustices through systemic change.
Sarah has lived in Islington her whole life and in her spare time enjoys reading and being in nature.
