Crisis Fund: Apply for funding (now closed)

As you know, we have launched the Islington Giving Crisis Fund. Second wave of funding is now open for applications. Learn how you can apply for funding.

To ensure applying and receiving funds is as easy as possible over the coming weeks, we have aligned funds raised through our Islington Giving Crisis fund to the London Community Response. Islington Giving’s grants team will access and allocate funds in response to applications submitted through the London Community Response website. This means you don’t have to apply twice and that, if we can’t help you, your application may still be funded by the wider pool of London Funders.

The application process is really simple and straightforward, we do really encourage organisations in Islington to apply.

Current funds available (now closed)

Wave 2 has two funding programmes that are taking applications:

  • Crisis response – grants of up to £10,000 to enable you to meet the immediate needs of communities, from food and essentials, to equipment and additional short-term staff costs;
  • Delivering differently – grants of between £10,000 and £50,000 to enable you to change the way you deliver your work to ensure it continues to meet the needs of your communities, from switching to digital channels to redeploying staff to boost your capacity at a time of increased demand. In some circumstances we may consider grants above £50,000 but there must be a strong rationale in your application for this.
