A qualified Solicitor, Fiona has over 25 years of experience in the not for profit sector, working for organisations including the British Red Cross, UNHCR, Teach First and Business in the Community. She was the CEO of Heart of the City and moved into funding in 2017 when she joined the City of London Corporation as its first Director of Philanthropy. She is responsible for setting and leading the pan-organisational strategy which focuses on the giving of time, assets, money and skills by the City Corporation itself and for the myriad charities which it serves as Corporate Trustee. These include Bridge House Estates which, through its funding arm, City Bridge Trust is a proud long term funder of Islington Giving. Fiona has lived in inner London for over 30 years and is passionate about reducing inequality. She is has volunteered in many roles in the capital and is currently a Trustee of NPC.
