Laura Ferraris

Laura is responsible for MAM’s global co-investment activity and strategic client partnerships. She joined Macquarie in 2011, focused on investing the Macquarie Group’s balance sheet into energy assets and subsequently worked on structured finance advisory mandates. Laura joined Macquarie Asset Management in 2018 to take on the newly created role as MAM’s Global Co-investment Director. Laura leads MAM’s infrastructure equity co-investment activities, working with the investment and client teams to raise co-investment equity across MAM’s closed and open ended funds. She has led the equity raise (including the creation of consortia pre-acquisition, syndications and the deployment of sidecars) on multiple transactions. Laura and her team work with many of MAM’s institutional clients to deliver co-investment outcomes which are central to their fund relationship with MAM. Laura is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from University College Cork (UCC), IRL. In the past, Laura has volunteered at The Middle Eastern Women’s society and the Hanley Crouch Community Association as part of the CoRe programme. Prior to that, Laura fundraised for and volunteered at the orphanages supported by Outreach Moldova.
