Last year, our Young Grant Makers (2022-2023 panel) funded seven transformative projects supporting young people in Islington. One such project was Fully Focused—a dynamic youth-driven production company teaching young people film and media skills, and creating content which is then showcased in local cinemas.
We recently caught up with Fully Focused, who shared these words about the impact of Islington Giving’s support:
“[Islington Giving] has been pivotal to our growth, sustainability and confidence. As an organisation we have ‘grown up’ with Islington Giving; our strategy, our policies and procedures, our practice and in turn our ability to secure longer term funding. This has enabled us to become a better employer and the stability and reassurance to plan ahead and continuously improve and evolve our services and support”.
