We are very pleased to announce new funding from Esmée Fairbairn Foundation to help us expand our participatory grant making work in Islington!
Over the next three years, the funding will enable us to run a range of resident-led panels – providing more opportunities for a diverse mix of local people to come together to identify priorities for change and make decisions about how funding is spent in their community.
The funding will also support us to develop our alumni programme, offering guidance and training to residents beyond the end of grant making programmes, and supporting them to engage in further decision-making and deepen their involvement in community initiatives in the borough.
We are extremely grateful to Esmee Fairbairn Foundation for this funding and their support, which in the long term we hope will catalyse lasting change in Islington, driven by local people. Thank you!
