Cripplegate Foundation has appointed Sarah Benioff as its new Director, starting in September 2019. She will also become Director for Islington Giving.
Commenting on her appointment Sarah said “as an Islington resident myself, I am thrilled to be joining Cripplegate Foundation and Islington Giving. I am looking forward to working with and for my local community, and building on the Foundation’s fantastic work along with our partners, Governors and staff.”
In a statement announcing Sarah’s appointment, Cripplegate Foundation Chair Frances Carter said, “we are delighted that Sarah Benioff will be joining us in September as Director of Cripplegate Foundation and Islington Giving. She brings a wealth of experience from her work at the National Lottery Community Fund, in central government, and has also worked in local youth and community settings. We are confident that Sarah will be able to take forward our work in the future, build on our success in local partnerships, and expand our influence in the wider funding world.”
Our relationship with Cripplegate Foundation
Cripplegate Foundation were one of the founding funders of Islington Giving when we started life in 2010. Each year, alongside other funders, local residents and businesses, Cripplegate Foundation has given money to support life changing work in Islington.
Islington Giving is a restricted fund of Cripplegate Foundation, registered charity number 207499. Cripplegate Foundation also administers Islington Giving and covers all its running costs.
