On Saturday 15th we enjoyed the wonderful annual Glow in the Angel event – and Angel Central was buzzing!
The event drew residents, families, and visitors together for an afternoon filled with carols, festive crafts, market stalls, and uplifting performances from local community groups. With something for everyone to enjoy, the atmosphere was vibrant and full of seasonal spirit.
This year’s event was delivered in partnership with Angel Islington Business Improvement District (BID) and Angel Central, whose support helped create a warm, welcoming space for the whole community to come together.
A huge thank you to everyone who snapped up our limited-edition Angel Crackers! Thanks to you, we raised an incredible £735 to support local projects tackling loneliness and isolation in Islington. These funds will support grassroots organisations providing safe spaces, connection, and vital practical support for residents who need it most.
