Our Young Grant Makers are about to complete their 2021 grant-making programme, and decide how funds by Islington Giving is spent on youth activities in their local area.

During the last five months, 14 young residents who applied to become young grant makers have been meeting weekly and have worked through a whole grant-making cycle, from shaping a call, to assessing applications, to making final funding decisions.

We were delighted to talk to Kezia, one of our Young Grant Makers for 2021, to reflect on her grant-making experience this year, the things she’s learned and more:
