Isaac received a Make it Happen grant to deliver a two-day film-making masterclass for young people.
After developing his cinematography skills with youth film production social enterprise Fully Focused – a long term Islington Giving partner, Isaac also benefitted from participating in an Islington Council Community Chest funded programme at the Bomb Factory in Archway, where he held an artist in residence position.
Isaac has established himself in the industry making short films and documentaries about social issues and won Arsenal’s ‘No More Red Shirt’ award for his community contributions. Through Make it Happen, Isaac was able to share his skills and give back to the young people in his community.
“Isaac is an amazing young man and such an inspiration. One of his goals over the last year was to share his experiences, knowledge and expertise with other young people.”
Do you have a creative project or event idea to bring people together in Islington? The Make It Happen fund is a small grants scheme for Islington residents that offers funding up to a maximum of £500 for people to act on things they care about locally. Apply by 19 May 2025.
