We help local groups and organisations apply for funding through our grants and programmes. Together with our partners, friends, and supporters, we work to:
- connect people who are isolated,
- support families having a tough time,
- improve mental health for everyone,
- make sure young people have the best chance in life.
Disability Fund
The Disability Fund supports organisations’ capacity to be inclusive so that people living with disabilities can take full advantage of what is on offer in Islington. Grants of up to £3,000 are available per organisation.

Closed Grants & Programmes
Make It Happen is an Islington residents’ small grants scheme of up to £500 for local people to act on the things that they care about. Projects could bring a new idea to life, help residents to put on a community event or support ongoing work of local groups.
Do you have an idea for a project that could benefit Islington’s older residents? Our funding call for applications is now open! The closing date is Monday 11 December 2023.
Young Grant Makers is a panel of 12 young people aged 17 to 24 who come together every year over five months to make decisions about funding for local projects for children and young people in Islington.
Can you help us bridge the gap in support systems for those at risk of homelessness? Mind the Gap will fund mental health, psychological and advocacy support. The closing date is Friday 28th April 2023.
Islington Food Partnership and Islington Giving are working together to distribute round 2 of the Islington Food Fund grants. This fund is by invite only and open to groups successful in round 1 of the Islington Food Fund.
The Family Panel is a group of eight local residents who have joined Islington Giving to shape this open call and make grant decisions that will benefit Islington parents and carers.
The Islington Giving Community Panel has launched a funding call for projects which support people to learn skills, provide a community environment, and are accessible and inclusive. The deadline is 9th October 2024.
We are inviting applications from existing organisations and successful round 1 applicants, to provide support to those experiencing food insecurity in the borough. Applicants can express interest in either the small grant or larger grant.
